This was my first time shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I must say it did not disappoint. I must admit I usually don't shop at Nordstrom because I typically can not afford their products but this sale gave me the opportunity to snag some great pieces at reasonable prices. Below I will list my favorite items I found from the sale as well as some shopping tips and what I actually purchased.
First for my purchased items:
(You can find links to all the items discussed in this post on my home page in the side bar on the right.)
This top is by Wayf and I absolutely loved it. As long as I wear a camisole underneath it I can also wear it to work. Sorry for the horrible quality of the iPhone picture but it was the best I could do.
I've been looking for a pair of cropped flair jeans for a few weeks now so I jumped at the chance to buy this super cute pair by SP Black.
I purchased this jacket by BLANKNYC online and I can't wait to receive it. I love the green color and that it's not just another black moto jacket.
This bucket bag by Street Level is the perfect basic black cross body purse for me. It was another online purchase that I am super excited about.
This item is actually not in the first image or listed in the links on my homepage so I will link it here. These burgundy pumps by Franco Sarto are the perfect addition to any closet and not to mention the color red is going to be a huge trend in the upcoming seasons.
Now for my favorites that I would love to purchase if I could:
This dress by Way-In was super cute I would have purchased it if I thought I could wear it to work but alas it was too short.
I'm still considering purchasing this dress by Leith. I just have to spread my purchases out so my husband doesn't have a panic attack haha.
This was another cute top by Chloe and Katie I would have loved to purchase it but it just didn't make the cut. It is longer in the back which is a huge perk because I like shirts that cover my rear for work.
These two items are both by Topshop and I am still considering the top but unfortunately the cardigan has already sold out in my size. I like the boxy shape of the top and the colors that they paired together.
Unfortunately I do believe this fabulous suede jacket by BLANKNYC is sold out but I just loved the color and style of the jacket.
Last but not least is this unique bag by Ted Baker. I loved the base color and the floral print on top of that is just fantastic.
Finally for my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale shopping tips:
1. If you have a Nordstrom card don't hesitate the good items are getting snatched up fast.
2. Whether you do or do not have a Nordstrom card go ahead and look through the online sale and add items you like to your wish list. This will allow those who do not have a card to keep track of what they like and you can really think about what you will purchase. Plus the day the sale goes public you will have a better chance at snagging those items since you won't have to sift through everything else to add them to your cart online.
3. Set a budget and stick to it. There is nothing worse than buyer's remorse or getting that credit card bill that you can't pay off at the end of the month.
4. Before looking online or in store come up with a list of items you would like to purchase. Like a pair of boots, pumps, coat, lace up shirt etc.
5. If you don't absolutely love it in the store you will never wear it so be very careful and picky about what you purchase.
