Today in all my classes our focus was on our intonation and making sure all of our notes were in tune. Needless to say it is a tedious task and requires a lot of patience. The students did wonderfully and were very patient and considerate of each other as we slowly worked through each song.
I decided to wear my new tunic from Modcloth that I got for $10 during their 70% off sale.
It was very comfortable and low maintenance which is a must on day like today. I got several compliments on it like "Miss I love your shirt dress thing." which gave me an opportunity to educate them on the difference between a tunic, a shirt, and a dress.
I explained to them that a dress can be worn with out anything underneath. However a tunic must be worn over something like leggings or pants. Also tunics are much longer than regular shirts.
I paired my tunic with a black boyfriend cardigan, black skinny trousers, black boots, and a black and silver necklace.
