Spring Break Cruise: Isla de Roatan, Honduras

The last port we stopped at on our cruise was Mahogany Bay, Roatan. This port was absolutely breathtaking! It was a tropical paradise and by far our favorite port on this cruise.

This was our view that morning from our balcony. The sun rising over the island was breathtaking. In this port we went on a catamaran sailing excursion that included snorkeling and lunch. Unfortunately there aren't many pictures from our excursion as we were afraid to take any electronics on the catamaran for fear of losing them. Fortunately they have a photographer on staff that takes pictures and they post them on Facebook for free.

If you look closely you can see me at the top I'm the person on the right of the two people out front.

After we got back from the excursion we had a few hours left to explore the port. There was a scenic path that led to a beach area. If you didn't feel like walking the path they had a chair lift available to take you to the beach. Below are some of the pictures

This is a panoramic of the beach that you can walk to from the ship. This is where a bulk of the cruise passengers spent their day.

This the the panoramic view from our balcony as you can tell Roatan is so gorgeous!

There will be one more post about our cruise tomorrow detailing more about our onboard activities.
